|Duties||Provide professional IT service to customers. - Configuration, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and monitoring of Windows servers, networks, PC’s and network devices such as routers, switches and firewalls. - Comprehensive understanding of Windows domain networks including DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory. - Rectifying server event log errors and checking performance reports on a daily basis. - Troubleshooting of PC peripheral devices and input devices. - Perform on-site connection of PCs, servers and peripheral devices. Including an understanding of structured cabling principles. - Proficient in configuring VDLS2/ADSL2+ connections, modems / routers. - Proficient in understanding and troubleshooting of TCP/IP, IP routing, and other common network and Internet troubleshooting tools and methods. - Proficient in the use of Internet technologies, DNS, VPN, VoIP. - Troubleshoot and support of general switching and routing issues. Understanding of VLAN’s, NAT and protocol port forwarding concepts and configurations. - Provide pre and post sales technical support, resolve support requests and respond to Customer support emails. - Keep accurate records of client networks, amend network diagrams as required. - Document, log and track all work performed for customers. -Keep accurate records of billable service activities for company timesheet requirements.|
|Key Responsibilities||Analyse and resolve hardware and software problems in a ‘Service Desk’ environment. - Complete a broad range of IT support tasks in a professional service delivery environment within a friendly IT team setting.|
|Customer Service Delivery||Aim to exceed customer IT service expectations and deliver outstanding responsive accomplished IT service assistance, support and advisory. - Foster, advocate and uphold the company’s ‘Code of Conduct’.|
|Essential Experience||Significant experience in a similar ‘IT Service Desk’ role at level 1 and/or 2. - Considerable experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012 and 2008 AD environments. - Developed experience in configuring, managing and troubleshooting local area networks, wide area networks, routers, firewalls, laptops and tablets. - Experience in documenting networks and device configurations.|
|Qualifications||University Tertiary Bachelor Degree in IT or closely related discipline, or - TAFE Higher Education Diploma level IT qualification or - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer with IT industry nationally recognised training. - Possess sufficient demonstrated experience in an IT support, IT engineer, IT helpdesk role. - Hold a current driver’s licence. - The ability to successfully pass a National Police Clearance check.|

|Essential Technical Skills||Demonstrate soundly competent professional to expert level of skills in regards to the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance and support of the following technologies; - Windows 2008/2012/2016 servers and Windows 7/8.1/10 workstations. - Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, Group Policy, Networking. - Internet technologies, and networking equipment such as UTM’s, NGFW’s, perimeter NBN VDSL2 and ADSL2+ modem routing devices. - Office 365, Microsoft Office 2013, 2016 suite of applications. - Virtualised server environments.|
